When people visit the club for the first time, they often tell us what they have already tried. Many of these ideas are common in every family, but they rarely lead to results that last.
Myth 1: Skipping meals helps you lose weight faster
Skipping breakfast or dinner usually leads to bigger hunger later and more snacking. Regular, balanced meals make it easier to control how much you eat over the whole day.
Myth 2: You must give up rice completely
Rice is part of everyday Andhra food and does not need to be banned. What matters more is the portion and what you eat with it: more dal, curd, vegetables and protein, and a little less rice.
Myth 3: More sweat means more fat loss
Sweating shows that your body is cooling down. The weight you lose by sweating is mostly water, and it comes back as soon as you drink. Steady eating habits and regular activity are what reduce body fat.
Myth 4: Only fruit or only juice is a healthy diet
Fruit is good for you, but a diet of only fruit or juice lacks protein and can leave you tired and hungry. Fruit works best as part of balanced meals.
Myth 5: Fast results are the best results
Very quick weight loss is hard to keep. Changes you can follow for months and years are what keep the weight off.
